Paris to host first IEA-COP29 high-level dialogue in May

The first high-level dialogue ‘International Energy Agency (IEA) - COP29’ will take place in Paris on May 15, head of the IEA, Fatih Birol, wrote in social networks, Report informs.

He held a meeting in Turin with President of COP29, Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan Mukhtar Babayev.

“Excellent discussion with COP29 President-Designate Mukhtar Babayev on ensuring successful outcomes in Baku this year and the International Energy Agency (IEA)’s support for countries on new Nationally Determined Contributions. Looking forward to hosting our first IEA-COP29 High-Level Dialogue on May 15 in Paris,” he wrote.
