Mukhtar Babayev meets representatives of World Bank, discusses COP29 preparations

Mukhtar Babayev, the president of the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP29) to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change and the Azerbaijan's Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources, met with Sameh Wahba, the World Bank's Regional Director for Sustainable Development for Europe and Central Asia, and Rolande Pryce, the Regional Director for the South Caucasus, Report informs.

During the meeting, the World Bank's ongoing and future programs in Azerbaijan, particularly in the water and agricultural sectors, were discussed. An exchange of views on the preparation for COP29 was also held.
