King Charles III of the United Kingdom received Mukhtar Babayev, Ecology and Natural Resources Minister of Azerbaijan, President-designate of COP29, Report informs.
"Today, His Majesty King Charles III welcomed the COP Presidencies Troika at Clarence House, represented by COP28 President, Dr. Sultan Al Jaber, COP29 President-Designate, Mukhtar Babayev, and Brazil’s National Secretary for Climate Change, Ana Toni," reads a post on COP28 page on X.
"The COP Presidencies Troika is an unprecedented collaboration between COP hosts, designed to maintain momentum, lock in continuity, anchor implementation and build a bridge of progress between COPs."
