Kazakh official: All Turkic states should unite to prevent Caspian Sea’s collapse like Aral

All Turkic states should unite to prevent the Caspian Sea's collapse like the Aral Sea, Gulbara Sultanova, Chairwoman of the Civil Society Affairs Committee under the Ministry of Culture and Information of Kazakhstan, said at the Turkic Climate Initiative Forum on Human Capital Issues held on the sidelines of COP29 in Baku, Report informs.

According to Sultanova, the recommendations to be prepared at the forum are a guarantee and basis for the overall development of the UN's agenda on climate change:

"It is important to form the agenda for more reforms, directions, and transformations that will affect the entire world community in climate discussions. I believe that without international cooperation and active participation of all countries in climate discussions, it is impossible to solve problems. In particular, all Turkic states should unite to prevent the Caspian Sea from collapsing like the Aral Sea and to save it. The common task is very important."
