Climate change issues in Latin American countries discussed at COP29

A press conference on climate justice was held During the sixth day of the COP29 climate conference in Baku.
According to Report, participants of the event, organized by the Global Campaign to Demand Climate Justice (DCJ) focused on the serious consequences of climate change for Latin American countries.
They emphasized that this region is particularly vulnerable to growing climate threats, including extreme weather events, ecosystem destruction, and worsening socio-economic instability.
During the discussion, representatives of environmental organizations, experts, and activists noted that Latin America, despite its relatively low carbon emissions, faces disproportionately high impacts of climate change.
