Azerbaijan and Brazil are set to work together on sustainability initiatives in the future, Olmo Xavier, Brazilian Extraordinary Secretary for COP30, told Report.
Brazil will host the 30th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP30).
Xavier highlighted that various departments within the Brazilian government are actively working on sustainability issues, regularly establishing partnerships, and implementing specific projects. Moreover, the country is taking necessary steps to address financial matters related to sustainability and conduct modern research in the field.
Xavier stated that Brazil aims to make great strides in sustainability, strengthen international cooperation, and achieve even greater success. "By working together with Azerbaijan, we plan to initiate important projects that will ensure sustainable development both regionally and globally."
“This collaboration is expected to create opportunities for both countries to attain more sustainable growth in ecological, social, and economic spheres, as well as facilitate the application of modern technologies and innovations,” he noted.
