A memorandum of understanding has been signed between AzerEnerji JSC and Italy's Ansaldo Energia covering decarbonization, personnel training, carbon capture, green hydrogen, small modular reactors, and other areas, Report informs, citing AzerEnerji.
Within the framework of COP29, a delegation led by Fabrizio Fabbri, CEO of Ansaldo Energia, visited AzerEnerji JSC's pavilion located in the green zone. A meeting was held between the Italian delegation and Baba Rzayev, the head of AzerEnerji JSC.
The memorandum of understanding between AzerEnerji and Ansaldo Energia regarding power generation systems and the exchange of experience in green hydrogen production will make a significant contribution to the green energy transition.
