Turkish Deputy Minister of Family and Social Services Adil Caliskan held a series of meetings at the COP29 climate conference in Baku, Report informs via Haber Global.
The Turkish deputy minister participated in an event organized in collaboration with the State Committee of Azerbaijan for Family, Women and Children Affairs and ISESCO.
In his speech, Caliskan discussed his ministry's activities aimed at supporting women and children affected by climate change, and noted the importance of youth's role in building climate resilience.
The deputy minister also participated in an event organized by Azerbaijan's Ministry of Labor and Social Protection within the framework of COP29. In his speech, he emphasized the principle of "leaving no one behind" and expressed Türkiye's determination on this issue.
Subsequently, the Turkish official met with Azerbaijan's Minister of Labor and Social Protection Sahil Babayev, and they discussed joint efforts of the two ministries regarding climate change and opportunities for further cooperation.
