Azerbaijan, Oman discuss prospects for cooperation in transport and green energy

During COP29, views were exchanged on opportunities for bilateral and regional cooperation between Azerbaijan and the Oman Investment Authority.

Report informs, citing the Ministry of Economy, that these topics were discussed at a meeting between Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov and Chief Investment Officer of the Oman Investment Authority Ibrahim Al-Eisri.

The parties discussed the development of economic ties with Oman in the context of positive economic dynamics between Azerbaijan and the Gulf countries.

Additionally, the meeting discussed the Oman Investment Authority's activities in creating G2G funds, as well as opportunities for bilateral and regional cooperation.

"During the meeting, the sides stressed the mutual strategic investment potential, which will contribute to the sustainable development of our countries in industry, green energy, logistics, and other areas," the Ministry of Economy emphasized.
