Azerbaijan and UK mull promoting green investments

Azerbaijan has discussed the promotion of green investments with the UK, Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov said on X, Report informs.
The discussions between Azerbaijani minister Jabbarov and Lord Spencer Elliot Livermore, the UK Financial Secretary to the Treasury, and Douglas Alexander, the Minister of State for Trade Policy and Economic Security of the UK, were held on the sidelines of COP29 in Baku.
“We exchanged views on Azerbaijan’s contributions to global initiatives focused on developing green ecosystem, intensifying our bilateral strategic economic relations, deepening business and trade connections, promoting green investments, and ensuring an efficient energy transition,” Jabbarov said.
