Azerbaijan and Baker Hughes discussed actions to reduce emissions, Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov said on X, Report informs.
The discussions between the Azerbaijani minister and Baker Hughes CEO Lorenzo Simonelli were held on the sidelines of COP29 in Baku.
“Our discussions focused on the company's potential contributions to our country’s green future, opportunities to expand collaboration in creating sustainable business models, actions to reduce emissions, and enhancing production efficiency through modern technologies,” Jabbarov said.
According to the minister, they also reviewed prospects for advancing the partnership between Baker Hughes and SOCAR.
