Azerbaijan, ACWA Power mull successful green energy cooperation

On the sidelines of COP29, Azerbaijan discussed successful cooperation with Saudi Arabia's ACWA Power company on green energy projects, Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov said on X, Report informs.

The discussion took place during the Azerbaijani minister’s meeting with ACWA Power CEO Marco Arcelli.

“We expressed our satisfaction with the successful progress of joint activities in green energy projects. Additionally, we reviewed the growing opportunities for investments in Azerbaijan, explored ways to diversify collaboration with SOCAR, and discussed the steps being taken to decarbonize the economy,” Jabbarov said on X.
