Andrzej Duda: 'We are impressed by COP29 organization level'

Poland is impressed with the organization level of the 29th session of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change Conference (COP29) taking place in Baku, Polish President Andrzej Duda told journalists on the sidelines of the climate conference, Report informs.

"I am very glad that I participated in the opening of this climate summit in Baku. We are impressed by its organization and therefore congratulate the host country - Azerbaijan and the head of state President Ilham Aliyev. Poland has experience in organizing a world summit, and I can say with full responsibility that everything here in Baku is perfectly organized," he said.

President Duda also expressed hope that important decisions will be made at COP29, especially for those countries that take climate policy issues seriously and consider climate protection as an important element of development.
