Ambassador: Azerbaijan and Germany working closely together on climate protection

Azerbaijan and Germany are closely cooperating in the areas of energy transformation and climate protection ahead of COP29 in Baku and will continue to do so in the future, German Ambassador to Azerbaijan Ralf Horlemann said in a post on the social network X.
"I was pleased to welcome today President Ilham Aliyev to the German pavilion at the Baku Energy Week today. Germany and Azerbaijan are working closely together on energy transformation and climate protection ahead of and beyond COP29 in Baku," the ambassador noted.
Germany presented its pavilion at the 29th International Caspian Oil and Gas Exhibition and the 12th Caspian International Power and Renewable Energy Exhibition as part of the Baku Energy Week.
