Accessibility takes center stage at COP29

COP29 has taken significant strides in ensuring equal participation for individuals with disabilities.
According to Report, the Blue and Green zones of the conference venue have been equipped with ramps and elevators that adhere to international standards. Special buses have also been arranged to cater to their transportation needs. Furthermore, sanitary facilities have been adapted to accommodate their requirements.
The conference halls, press conference rooms, and public dining areas feature specially designed tables suitable for wheelchair users.
The Media Center has also taken steps to create an inclusive environment by setting up workspaces tailored to the needs of those with disabilities.
