Visa to support women entrepreneurs in Azerbaijan

The Visa international payment system will provide support to women entrepreneurs in Azerbaijan in the coming years, Visa regional manager for Azerbaijan Nurlan Hajiyev said at the Baku Fintech Forum 2023 event, Report informs.

“Visa invests in financial technologies around the world. Last time we supported a Georgian fintech company. Several years ago, fintech companies in Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan also received support from us. Every year we hold a competition among fintech companies, the purpose of which is to support fintech industry and selection of the most advanced and interesting fintech companies for further investments. I would really like Azerbaijani fintech companies to take part in it and become the first,” he noted.
