Trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Turkiye to exceed $6B

The trade between Azerbaijan and Turkiye is expected to exceed $6 billion, said Ahmet Erdal, Chief Commercial Counsellor of the Turkish Embassy in Azerbaijan, Report informs.
"Our main work is the development of trade ties between Azerbaijan and Turkiye. Relations between the two countries, which have been going on for years, entered a different point with the Patriotic War Victory of Azerbaijan. It is no coincidence that the trade volume between Azerbaijan and Turkiye in January-September 2022 was $4.3 billion. We expect this trade volume to exceed $6 billion," he added.
According to him, the goal set by the heads of state is to reach $15 billion in the shortest time: "We will achieve it."
