This vital trade route connects China to Europe via Kazakhstan, the Caspian Sea, Azerbaijan, and Georgia.

Beyond logistics, the association provides essential information support, simplifies administrative procedures, fosters a competitive transport environment, and ensures maximum efficiency for participants—including those from non-corridor countries.

Key permanent members include Azerbaijan Railways CJSC, Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company, Aktau International Sea Trade Port (Kazakhstan), Baku International Sea Trade Port CJSC, Georgian Railway JSC, TCDD Transportation JSC (Türkiye), Ukrzaliznytsia JSC (Ukraine) and others.
