The next business missions of Russian companies to Azerbaijan are discussed during the meeting of the Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov with the Chairman of the Board of Russia's Roseksimbank Azer Talibov, Report informs.
The meeting also discussed the participation of Russian companies in the restoration of the liberated territories, energy, railways, pharmaceutical projects, and other issues of mutual interest.
The Minister noted the successful development of relations with the Russian Federation, emphasizing the importance of financial partnership in terms of broader realization of economic potential, strengthening trade and investment ties. The favourable business and investment environment in Azerbaijan, as well as the tremendous economic potential of liberated lands, create new opportunities for expanding regional cooperation.
The Minister of Economy stressed the role of the banking sector in the Azerbaijani-Russian economic cooperation and shared his views on the development of relations with Eximbank.
Azer Talibov expressed the interest of the Russian entrepreneurs in the participation in projects implemented in Azerbaijan, emphasizing that cooperation will contribute to economic cooperation, business revival, creation of new enterprises and jobs.
