PWC to help Kazakh companies find partners in Azerbaijan

PWC will assist Kazakh companies in the search for partners in Azerbaijan, Myrza Sokurov, Strategy and Operations Director at PriceWaterHouseCoopers Kazakhstan (PWC), told journalists, as quoted by Report.

"The Azerbaijani market is situated on the Great Silk Road and is a key partner country of Kazakhstan. And we are near, on the Caspian Sea, and it is very comfortable and profitable for Kazakh producers to cooperate with Azerbaijani companies," he said.

Sokurov noted that now when everywhere is overwhelmed with instability, the Kazakhstan consumers need Azerbaijani goods, and Azerbaijani consumers need Kazakhstan's goods. He urged to develop cooperation in trade.

"In terms of investment, we observe the interest on the part of Kazakhstan. There is a good economic environment in Azerbaijan," he said.

According to Sokurov, PWC helps Kazakhstan's Ministry of Trade and QAZtrade to ensure the export of Kazakhstan-made goods to nearby countries, including Azerbaijan.

A total of 23 companies engaged in mechanical engineering, the food industry, and services will enter the Azerbaijani market with the support of QAZtrade and PWC.
