President approves amendments to Tax Code

President Ilham Aliyev has approved amendments to the Tax Code, according to Report.

The Prosecutor General's Office will now be authorized to issue a permit for exemption from VAT for certain defense-related goods.

This concerns the import and sale of all types of equipment and technical means intended for the defense and security of the state. It also includes spare parts and specialized software for the mentioned goods, as well as weapons and ammunition.
