Participation in Azerbaijan's electronic procurement more than doubles

In January-October of 2024, the number of electronic procurements in Azerbaijan reached 17,804, with 99,447 participants, Report informs, citing the State Service for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control under Azerbaijan’s Economy Ministry.
Compared to the same period in 2023, the number of participants in these competitions has more than doubled. The average number of suppliers per electronic procurement increased by 1.45 times, reaching 5.66.
The State Service notes that the electronicization of public procurements not only ensures equal competitive conditions for all suppliers but also enhances public awareness of procurement results and strengthens public oversight.
