Azerbaijan has a great potential for boosting trade between the member-states of the Turkic-speaking states' Cooperation Council, Orkhan Mammadov, the head of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency, said.
Report informs that Mammadov was speaking at a conference on the innovative activity of small and medium businesses in stabilizing economic growth in the post-pandemic period, organized in Baku with the participation of the agency, the Parliament of Azerbaijan and the Parliamentary Assembly of the Turkic-speaking states.
"In 2020, Azerbaijan carried out the trade operations with the Turkic countries in the amount of $4.4 billion. Though the share of these countries in Azerbaijan's foreign trade is 17.9%, there is a great potential for increasing the figure," Mammadov said.
