Deputy PM: Azerbaijan-Moldova business forums should be held regularly

Regular organization of business forums between Azerbaijan and Moldova is essential, as such events play a crucial role in enhancing cooperation opportunities, Moldova's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development, Vladimir Bolea, said, Report informs.

Bolea made the remark during the Azerbaijan-Moldova business forum held in Baku today.

"Within the framework of today's meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission, a protocol was signed defining the main directions and priorities of our future economic cooperation. This document serves as a clear roadmap for strengthening relations and joint activities," he noted.

The minister also pointed out that business forums act as a catalyst that promotes investment flows and serves to form new cooperation platforms for sustainable development: "Such events should be organized regularly. Because they create extensive opportunities for business circles to find new forms of cooperation and implement innovations. We are confident that today's discussions within this format will lay the foundation for many new agreements and interesting ideas for future projects will emerge. These ideas will contribute to the economic partnership of both countries and strengthen mutual trust."

Bolea further highlighted that Azerbaijan's achievements in the fields of energy and infrastructure are of particular interest to Moldova: "We are confident that we can learn a lot from Azerbaijan in these areas. We look forward to establishing cooperation in this dynamically developing sector."

As part of the forum, a Memorandum of Understanding titled "On the Promotion of Cooperation in the Field of Renewable Energy" was signed between the Azerbaijan Renewable Energy Agency (AREA) under the Ministry of Energy of Azerbaijan and the National Center for Sustainable Energy under the Ministry of Energy of Moldova.
