Moldova invites Azerbaijan to invest in agriculture

"Moldova is looking for investors for the development of the agricultural industry and has held discussions with the Azerbaijani government in this regard," the Prime Minister of Moldova, Natalia Gavrilita, told reporters during the meeting with the representatives of Business Circles of Azerbaijan and Moldova in Baku, Report informs.

Natalia Gavrilita said that there are potential directions of development between the two countries: "We need to develop our bilateral trade relations. We have discussed not only energy, but also other areas with the government of Azerbaijan. I had productive discussions with the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and Prime Minister Ali Asadov. In addition, we also had a meeting with business people."

She added that Moldova has started importing fertilizers from Azerbaijan: "We are pleased that we have already had successful results in some areas."
