Mitja Blaganje: Slovenia open to investments in sports

There is great potential for cooperation between Slovenia and Azerbaijan in the fields of business, tourism, and sports, Mitja Blaganje, Secretary General of Slovenia’s Ministry of Economy, Tourism and Sport, said during the Azerbaijan-Slovenia Business Forum held in Baku, according to Report.

"Slovenia offers excellent conditions for training and recovery for sports teams from around the world. We are open to investments in sports — from the development of sports infrastructure to supporting young talents. There is tremendous potential for cooperation between Slovenia and Azerbaijan in business, tourism, and sports. Slovenia warmly welcomes investments and long-term partnerships that strengthen ties, drive innovation, and bring mutual benefits.

I am confident that together we can create a shared success story — one that unites our countries in the spirit of friendship and sustainable development," he said.
