Minister: Economy rapidly recovering in post-pandemic period

The economy of Azerbaijan is rapidly recovering in the post-pandemic period, and this trend continues, Report informs, quoting Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov as telling a conference, entitled "The role of entrepreneurship in the development of the economy", held in Baku to mark the Day of Entrepreneur.

“According to the results of 2021, the growth rates of gross domestic product (GDP) in all significant sectors of the economy, the growth rates of industrial production, the growth rates of the non-oil economy, the growth rates of non-oil exports and their acceleration in 2022 show that the policy pursued by the state is producing the desired result. This does not mean that we have solved all the problems. What is important to us today? What are our expectations from the state to stimulate entrepreneurs' investments for further expansion of activities? Our point of view is access to finance, improvement of the state's access to new markets, further improvement of technical regulations, customs duties.
