Mikayil Jabbarov: Tax service plays key role in sustainable economic development

Tax service plays a major role in ensuring sustainable economic development in Azerbaijan, according to Mikayil Jabbarov, the Economy Minister of Azerbaijan, Report informs.

Jabbarov made this statement at the “Tax Service – 25: Sustainable Development and Effective Transformation” forum held in Baku..

"Among the tasks ahead of us, the role of economic development task is increasing. A functional tax system has great importance in the implementation of this task," he noted.

The minister further stated diversification plays an important role in economic policy: "Global challenges and regional realities dictate accelerating this process. Successful diversification requires flexible integration of investment, knowledge, and skills. Recently, we have expanded our activities in the transformation of knowledge, technology, and experiences."
