Mikayil Jabbarov: Number of employees in private sector exceeds number of employees in public sector

The number of employees in the private and non-oil sectors in Azerbaijan exceeded the number of employees in the public and oil sectors, acting Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov said at the Baku forum "Tax system in the new development period: strategic goals for a sustainable economy," according to Report.
"In 2019, when we started the implementation of the stimulating tax policy, more than 850,000 employees worked at state-owned enterprises. As a result of successful work, within five years, the number of employees in the private sector exceeded the number of employees in the public sector. Since 2010, the employees of the tax sector have begun to exercise higher standards while performing their duties," he noted.
