Mikayil Jabbarov lists Karabakh’s potential opportunities

Azerbaijan has prepared a document and a review of the economic reintegration of territories liberated from occupation, with the participation of local and foreign experts, Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov said, Report informs.

He noted that this document defines the main goals and tools: “The work carried out today is held in accordance with a single vision. According to this, we see great potential in a number of areas. These are agriculture, industry centers. Two industrial zones have already been created.”

The minister reminded that 9 residents work in the industrial zone operating in Aghdam: “Soon, another 15 residents are expected to receive certificates. The industrial zone in Jabrayil is located along the Zangazur corridor. The activity of the transport and logistics center will be closely connected with the Zangilan airport, which will contribute to the development both Zangilan and Jabrayil districts.”

Jabbarov said that in addition, Azerbaijan sees great potential in the development of natural resources and minerals in the liberated territories: “There are already foreign investors in this area and contracts have been concluded with them.”
