Laziz Kudratov: Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan to develop industrial co-op program

Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan will develop the industrial cooperation program, Uzbekistan's Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade Laziz Kudratov said at the III Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan Interregional Forum in Baku.

Report quotes him as saying Uzbekistan intends to actively develop ties in Azerbaijan, expand trading houses in order to familiarize representatives of Azerbaijani business with the opportunities offered by the economy of Uzbekistan: "Accordingly, we will also create opportunities for Azerbaijani manufacturers to present and promote their products on the Uzbek market. We also agreed to develop a joint schedule of mutual visits, business missions from Uzbekistan to Azerbaijan and from Azerbaijan to Uzbekistan."

Kudratov added that he hopes that new projects in the field of industrial cooperation will be agreed upon during today's negotiations and the work of the international forum.
