Lachin shoe factory to produce 1,500 pairs of footwear per month

The Lachin shoe factory will produce 1,500 pairs of shoes in sports and classic styles per month, Anar Aliyev, director of the Lachin branch of the PIRSHAGHI shoe factory, told Report during a media tour "In the footsteps of the President" organized in Lachin .

“Mainly, residents relocated to the Lachin district will be provided with permanent jobs here. The factory is expected to provide 15 people with jobs at the initial stage,” Aliyev said.

He noted that the enterprise will produce shoes in various styles:

“The factory is intended to produce shoes for men, women and children. Equipped with modern equipment, the enterprise is capable of producing 1,500 pairs of shoes per month.

Mainly sports and classic-style shoes will be produced here. The products are planned to be introduced both to the domestic market and exported to European countries.”

President Ilham Aliyev attended the opening of the Lachin branch of the PIRSHAGHI shoe factory on May 27.
