KOBIA: Events in Hanoi to create new investment opportunities between Azerbaijan, Vietnam

The first meeting of the Vietnam-Azerbaijan Joint Business Council and the Vietnam-Azerbaijan Business Forum - 2025, held in Hanoi on July 16, will make a significant contribution to creating new investment opportunities between the two countries, Orkhan Mammadov, Chairman of the Board of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBIA) under the Ministry of Economy, wrote on X, Report informs.
He noted that these events will expand business relations between the two countries.
Within the framework of today's events in Hanoi, 5 documents were signed between the two countries. These documents provide for the promotion of mutual investments and the strengthening of relations between entrepreneurs.
On July 17, the 3rd meeting of the Azerbaijan-Vietnam Intergovernmental Commission on Economic, Trade, Scientific and Technical Cooperation will be held in Hanoi.
The meeting is expected to focus on discussing cooperation between the two countries in trade and economic, energy, culture, agriculture, tourism, transport, education and other fields, as well as discuss the current state of economic and trade relations and investment opportunities.
The co-chairs of the Intergovernmental Commission are Azerbaijan's Minister of Energy, Parviz Shahbazov, and Vietnam's Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien.
