Investment portfolio value of Azerbaijan Investment Company revealed

By the end of 2022, the investment portfolio value of Azerbaijan Investment Company and the total approved investments amount reached 240.3 million manats ($141.3), Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov wrote on Twitter, Report informs.

According to him, 76% of that amount was directed to heavy industry, 13% to food industry, 3% to the green economy, and 8% to other areas.

“Increasing the efficiency of Azerbaijan Investment Company (AIC OJSC) is one of our upcoming targets. Last year, the operational expenditures of the Company were optimized; the profitability indicators on the main investment sub-portfolio and the liquidity sub-portfolio grew,” he tweeted.
