Implementation of investment projects by Uzbek companies in Azerbaijan discussed

The meeting held at the Export and Investment Promotion Agency of Azerbaijan (AZPROMO), with the delegation of Uzbek holding AKFA Group, one of the largest holdings in Central Asia, focused on the prospects of the implementation by Uzbek companies of investment projects in Azerbaijan, Report informs, referring to AZPROMO.

The participants in the meeting discussed cooperation of the Artel company of the AKFA Group with AZPROMO.

The head of the agency, Yusif Abdullayev, informed the guests about the activities of the agency, the favorable business and investment environment created in the country, the privileges offered to investors and exporters, including the subsidization of logistics, tax incentives and other stimulating mechanisms that are under development.

Bahadir Abdullayev, Chief Executive Officer of AKFA Group, hailed the conditions created for foreign investors and the developed infrastructure in Azerbaijan, and said that they are initially interested in the establishment of household appliances production enterprises within the framework of realization of potential investment projects of the Artel company, which is part of the conglomerate.
