IMF: Azerbaijan prioritizes climate cooperation

Azerbaijan places significant emphasis on climate cooperation and is actively taking steps in this direction, Margaret Cotton, Deputy Division Chief in the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Fiscal Affairs Department Revenue Administration Division, said at an international conference on carbon assessment organized by the State Tax Service in Baku, Report informs.
The IMF representative noted that leaders of international organizations are encouraging joint efforts on climate issues:
“This is a crucial issue for everyone. Local cooperation is also a key factor.”
