Expansion of co-op between Azerbaijan, Universal Postal Union discussed

The development of e-commerce and postal transportation between Azerbaijan and the Universal Postal Union (UPU) has been discussed, Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev wrote on X, Report informs.
"We met with Deputy Director General of the UPU Marjan Oswald, and exchanged views on expanding cooperation with the UPU. We discussed the development of e-commerce and postal transportation," he wrote.
Minister Nabiyev also emphasized that Azerbaijan put forward its candidacy for membership in the Council of Administration and the Postal Operations Council of the UPU. The elections will be held within the 28th UPU Congress on September 7-19 this year in Dubai.
