Dairy production declines in Azerbaijan

Between January and July of 2025, Azerbaijan produced over 5,813 tons of cream and sour cream, marking a 2.4% decrease year-on-year, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.

During the reporting period, the country’s production of cheese and curd fell by 4.1% year-on-year, totaling approximately 30,615 tons.

As of August 1, Azerbaijan had a stockpile of 67.3 tons of cheese and curd.

During the first seven months of the year, the value of Azerbaijan’s food production exceeded 3.013 billion manats (over $1.77 billion), marking a 10.6% increase compared to the same period last year.
