Czech companies may be involved in smart city and smart village projects in Azerbaijan

The meeting between Sahib Mammadov, Deputy Minister of Economy, Co-Chairman of the Joint Commission on Economic, Scientific-Technical and Cultural Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Czechia, with Petr Tresnak, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic, the other Co-Chairman of the Commission, the cooperation opportunities with Czech companies in the automotive industry, smart city, and smart village projects, Report informs, citing the Azerbaijani ministry.

The importance of Azerbaijan-Czech relations, mutual visits, and discussions in the development of cooperation was emphasized at the meeting. Highlighting the potential for strengthening economic and trade partnerships, Mammadov noted that the Joint Commission is an effective platform. He said there are vast opportunities for expanding cooperation between our countries in trade, industry, transport-transit, and tourism.

Tresnak noted the mutually beneficial cooperation of the countries and shared his views on the direction of expanding relations.

The activities of the Intergovernmental Commission and the expansion of economic and trade cooperation were discussed at the meeting.
