Consumer market in Azerbaijan grows by nearly 5%

In January-October 2024, the value of goods sold and services provided to meet consumer demands in Azerbaijan amounted to 60.4 billion manats ($35.53 billion), 4.6% more in prices compared to the same period last year, Report informs, citing the country's State Statistical Committee.
The value of goods sold and services provided by economic entities in the private sector increased by 4.5% compared to January-October 2023, amounting to 58 billion manats ($34.12, of which 45.9% was formed through individual entrepreneurs' activities.
During the reporting period, a consumer spent an average of 592.3 manats ($348.41) per month, which is 31.6 manats ($18.59) more in nominal terms compared to a year ago.
