Beverage production rises by 74% in Azerbaijan

In January-September 2023, Azerbaijan produced 61,069,900 decaliters of beverages, 73.8% more than in the same period last year, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.

During the reporting period, the production of alcoholic beverages in Azerbaijan made up 6,199.2 million decaliters (17.5% more year-on-year), including 939,200 decaliters (11.3% more) of vodka, 184,600 decaliters (3.7 times more) of whiskey-cognac, 865,200 deciliters (42.7% more) of grape wines and 4,210.2 million deciliters (11.5% more) of beer.

In the 9 months, 35.806 million decalitres (19.9% more) of soft drinks, and 19,064,700 unsweetened drinks (38.3% more) were produced in the country.

As of October 1, 2023, the stock of alcoholic beverages in the country amounted to 1.369 million decaliters, and the stock of soft drinks was 700,100 decaliters.
