Baku hosts Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan business forum

Baku is hosting a business forum with the participation of women entrepreneurs from Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan today.

Member of the Milli Mejlis Hijran Huseynova and Speaker of the Uzbek Parliament Tanzila Narbayeva are attending the event, Report informs.

The business forum aims to strengthen the growing economic and trade ties between the two countries, gain new opportunities for cooperation and discuss joint projects.

From Azerbaijan, Yusif Abdullayev, Executive Director of the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO) under the Ministry of Economy, Sakina Babayeva, Chairman of the Board of the Association for the Development of Women's Entrepreneurship in Azerbaijan, and from Uzbekistan, Sevara Latipova, founder of GPZ-27 from Uzbekistan, Sitorabonu Abdurasulova, founder of KhumoSB, and Gulzoda Rashidova, Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Xalq Bank of Uzbekistan, delivered a speech.

The business forum will include the signing of memorandum and agreements and bilateral meetings.
