Azerbaijani wines showcased in Austria

On May 25-27, the office of Azerbaijan's Trade Representative for Central European countries demonstrated Azerbaijani wines for the first time at the largest wine exhibition in Austria VieVinum 2024.

Report informs citing the Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO) that during the exhibition, visitors were presented with products of various brands of 5 wine producers in Azerbaijan. The main visitors to the exhibition were wine distributors from Austria, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Germany, Slovakia and other countries, owners of wine houses, sommeliers, representatives of HoReCa (hotels, restaurants, catering), and others.

Visitors were provided with extensive information about the history of winemaking in Azerbaijan, the current development of the wine sector, local grape varieties, showcased wines and producers.
