In January-March 2025, pharmaceutical products and medical supplies worth 342,500 manats ($201,470) were sold to consumers in Azerbaijan's retail trade network, Report informs, citing the country's State Statistics Committee.
This figure is 9.1% higher year-on-year.
During the first 3 months of 2025, 2.3% of the funds spent by buyers on goods for final consumption were used for the purchase of pharmaceutical products and medical supplies.
In January-March of this year, goods worth 14.6 billion manats ($8.59 billion) were sold to consumers in Azerbaijan's retail trade network, including 8.1 billion manats ($4.76 billion) of food products, beverages and tobacco products, and 6.5 billion manats ($3.8 billion) of non-food goods. Compared to January-March 2024, retail trade turnover increased by 3.8% in real terms, including 1.7% for food products, beverages and tobacco products, and 6.3% for non-food goods.
