Azerbaijani entrepreneurs visit Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area

Azerbaijani entrepreneurs have visited enterprises operating in the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (BDA), Report informs, citing the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO).

The visit was jointly organized by the AZPROMO, the Office of Azerbaijan's Trade Representative in China, and the International Cooperation Center of China's National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC).

During the visit to the BDA, the delegation toured enterprises operating in biotechnology, artificial intelligence, transportation, e-commerce, ICT, and robotics.

The delegation visited several innovation centers, including the research center and pharmaceutical production laboratories of Yongtai Biopharmaceutical Co. where they became familiar with innovations in biotechnology.

They also toured the Innovation and Operation Center of Beijing High-Level Autonomous Driving Demonstration Zone to see unmanned public transport vehicles, as well as the exhibition halls of JD.com Group, one of China's largest e-commerce platforms, and HollySys ICT solutions company, and familiarized themselves with various robotics models used in the industrial sector, medical services, and household applications at the World of Robots exhibition hall.
