Azerbaijani and Russian antimonopoly services ink Memo of Understanding

The delegation of the Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control State Service under the Azerbaijan Ministry of Economy signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of competition with the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia as part of the visit to Belarus, Report informs, referring to the State Service.

According to the information, the document was inked by the head of the institution, Mammad Abbasbayli, and the head of the Federal Antimonopoly Service, Maksim Shaskolsky. The memorandum reflected the development of cooperation in the field of competition, exchange of experience, and other issues.

Representatives of the State Service also participated in the 53rd meeting of the Interstate Council on Antimonopoly Policy. During the event, the representative of the State Service, Jafar Babayev, made a presentation on "Legal practices in the field of unfair competition".
