Azerbaijan, UK complete first deal under UKEF £5B loan guarantee program

Azerbaijan and the UK have successfully completed their first transaction with the support of the UK Export Finance (UKEF) under the £5 billion loan guarantee program, Report informs referring to the British Embassy in Baku.

Silk Way West Airlines has secured UKEF's Direct Lending facility to purchase a state-of-the-art Boeing 777 Full-Flight Simulator.

Produced by UK-based L3Harris Commercial Aviation Solutions, the simulator is a next-generation model that integrates three Boeing 777 variants and offers a highly realistic training experience for students of the National Aviation Academy.

With Azerbaijan's strategic location, boosting its role in global aviation and logistics, there is fantastic potential for further UK-Azerbaijan collaboration through UKEF.
