Azerbaijan, Türkiye negotiating transfer of telecom technologies

Negotiations are underway with Azerbaijani companies on the exchange of information, technology transfer, investment, as well as the use of telecommunications equipment produced in Azerbaijan and Türkiye, said the head of the Communication Technologies Cluster of Türkiye, Ilyas Kayaduman, Report informs.

He noted that there is a cluster in Türkiye that unites more than 160 Turkish telecommunications companies: “The main goal of working together with these companies is to ensure an increase in the use of Turkish-made equipment in the telecommunications system.”

“We also intend to establish cooperation with companies in Azerbaijan and work with them towards expanding the local telecommunications ecosystem,” added Kayaduman.
