Azerbaijan to send export missions to Saudi Arabia and UAE

Azerbaijan intends to send export missions to Saudi Arabia and the UAE, and work in this direction is already underway, the Executive Director of the Export and Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO) Yusif Abdullayev told Report.

According to Yusif Abdullayev, the missions will likely travel to these countries in the second half of the year, however, specific cities have not yet been selected.

Abdullayev also emphasized that in the near future, another meeting of the intergovernmental commission of Azerbaijan and Saudi Arabia will be held, within which a round table on investments will be organized.

In the first quarter of 2025, the trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Saudi Arabia amounted to $11.1 million, which is 56.2% more compared to the same period last year. During this period, the value of Azerbaijan's exports to Saudi Arabia decreased by 49.3% to $0.5 million, while the value of imports from this country increased by 73.3% to $10.6 million.
