Azerbaijan to invest in basalt production

The Azerbaijan Business Development Fund (ABIF), operating under the Ministry of Economy, and Basalt Group LLC have signed a contract on joint participation in the charter capital of Azerbasalt Scientific-Production Union LLC.

According to Report, the signing took place within the framework of the 1st Azerbaijan International Investment Forum (AIIF-2025) held in Baku.

The document was signed by Yasin Jalilov, Director-General of ABIF, and a representative of Basalt Group LLC.

This contract is expected to contribute to the development of domestic industrial production.
